Elwyn: Thanks for commenting. In my opinion, the book does deliver the message. But not the details. Its a book that says “what to do” but skips a bit on “how to do it.” Surely Tim provides quite a bit of detail. But not as much as he could have or is required. But I think its a good read none the less. It lays down a good foundation.

Yes – I didn’t find a lot of new ideas in the book myself. But its a good summary and a reminder. Its a good read for people because of two reasons: 1. It shows them the possibilities. 2. They can skip reading 4 other books and simply read this one. Its a good summation.

I find your techniques and strategies much more beneficial – as you already know.

A promise of a 4 hour week . . . but the book does not deliver. I think your review was reasonable but I think we should forget about the title and its promise. There is some good stuff in this book, but I don’t think it is compelling enough for me to change what I am currently doing.

I found this book to be just so-so. I had a hard time working out what he was on about that wasn’t said many times before.

And the four hour day, let alone the four hour week, that promise seems to be strangely missing. I don’t even believe Tim lives a four hour week.
