Google Buying FeedBurner for $100 Million

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Google.com is in the final stages of negotiation to buy FeedBurner.com for $100 million!

What does that mean for us bloggers that use FeedBurner?

1. Google will use Feedburner statistics to rank blogs.

2. Google will make it easier to show ads in RSS feeds - earning bloggers more money.

3. Google may also integrate Feedburner statistics with their Google Analytics application - giving you a better idea of how your feeds perform.

4. Feedburner’s customer support may get as bad as Googles! (Right now, Feedburner offers terrific support for their free as well as paid services!)
