Question: Who is Your Domain Registrar?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

One simple question for you which should take 37 seconds to answer.

Who is your domain registrar and why?A

Let me know by posting a comment.A  In my next post, I’ll let you know who my domain registrar is - and why he is the best registrar out there!

Oh and I just heard that ICANN will hike domain name prices by 50 cents within the next few weeks.A  And all the domain registrars will have to increase their prices in accord too.A  So this is a good time to:

1. Transfer your domains if you use a crappy registrar

2. Renew your domains for 2-3 years

I’ve been using GoDaddy.com for several years — excellent company, great prices, and awesome service. I haven’t found anyone to beat them yet - on domains OR on hosting.

I use Godaddy. I have never had any problems with them and love the service they offer when there is a problem. Heck they even called me to help setup my first domain a few years back

Same here, I use Godaddy because their prices were reasonable, plus TERRIFIC Super Bowl commercials.

But I don’t use their hosting plans. I am curious to see what you have to say about the value of a domain registar.

SCHLUND+PARTNER is who I do business with now. I had about 20 domains caught up in the registerfly debacle (too involved to explain here; visit registerflies.com for the whole story). I have a couple with Network Solutions because I guess I trust them with my most valuable domains.
