I need to find a way to make money to feed my kids and pay bills. I'm clueless to all this tech talk and would welcome any info that will teach me how to start a website. Not a typical address that leads me to hundreds of sites that give me hundreds of ideas. Just something simple, elementary, and understandable!! Basic teaching for a basic guy please. Thanks for reading, Howard Stephens.

I would like change the "buy me a beer" to "buy me a beer or a candy". This shows you don't care about how much they donate.

Years ago I remember reading about a school in San Francisco that taught 'How to Panhandle'. In the article one of the points made was that panhandlers earned more money by asking for a specific amount, "Do you have $5 bucks I can have." The article also mention to personalize it by asking for help, "Can you help me out? Do you have $5 I can have?" Finally, to ask for help for something specific, "Can you help me out? Can you give me $5 so I can eat?"

I am convinced that a specific request does help significantly.
